I am gathering stories and memories from Nottinghamshire residents for the Spirit of Wartime Sherwood Project

Miner2Major People of Sherwood Project, I am introducing the work of local author, Helen Cresswell to Nottinghamshire Guiding and Scouting groups as part of a creative writing and storytelling project inspired by her many wonderful books.

Working with clients referred by NHS continuing care teams and in partnership with the Canals and Rivers Trust, I am leading story walks along the canal towpaths or inside cosy narrow boats, for joy and wellbeing,

I'm delivering the storytelling element of the outreach work for, "The Leaves of Southwell Heritage Project" for Southwell Minster. All the stories are inspired by the carvings in the Chapter House and I'm working in a variety of settings - typically care homes, community groups, schools and assisted living facilities.
